This Is Water

Well, I liked his speech. I took it as someone trying to make a bad situation better. I can relate to David Foster Wallace since I try to make things as good as I can. I really like his example at the super market where he's having such a bad time after work but he doesn't realize that other people are having a day that is probably worse than his. This makes you think about other rather than being selfish. I really like the fact that he tries to get that into high school student's minds before they begin to think that the world revolves around them. The main thing is to make teens into smart adults who care about one another instead of only caring about themselves.

Do I disagree with anything? Well yes, you can't agree with everyone's ideas. Mr. Wallace says that people get tired of the same routine every day. I think that it depends how you look at it. Your day looks the way you make it look. If you feel like you eat the same thing daily, there are ways to switch up your meals and make your mornings or lunches more interesting. If you feel that you go straight home to sleep after work, Maybe you can do something else like go to the gym or hang out with friends.

David Foster Wallace is cool. He made me realize that I should keep other's emotions in mind and not be selfish when it comes to talking to people about whatever. I think that a lot of people should watch or at least listen to the speech because it gives you a different outlook on life. Maybe after a long day, you forget what is important to you and this speech can help with that.

Life of a Homeless 17 year old.

So I'm not really homeless but "displaced" according to my school. I just say that I'm homeless because it makes the situation less sad. I like making bad things not seem as bad as they are in order to make myself and others who ask not feel as bad. But anyway, I got kicked out of my house in the beginning of April. Not because I was dealing meth out of my parent's house or anything cool like that, but because we argued so often that there was always tension between me and my parents. So one day, we got into yet another argument and my parents told me to leave the house (I guess that Mexican parents do this often to scare their kids) and I did. My parents were thrown off guard because they didn't actually mean for me to leave, they just wanted to scare me into doing what they wanted. So I was technically homeless for like 4 hours until my brother picked me up and I moved in with him.
I'm pretty happy now actually. My parents still have their moments and my family isn't really together as much anymore, but I'm out of the situation where there are daily arguments and tension. I have a bit more freedom and people who give me rides and stuff. But I did give up a lot. My ability to make music whenever I'd like and my little studio but I'm willing to give that up for my happiness.
I'm getting my own apartment in a few months anyway, so I'll be chillin'.
Shout out to my parents though, they gave me so much when I was with them and taught me how to be independent. That independence thing kinda back fired on them though. But I do appreciate them regardless.

Do I want to go to college?

Honestly, No.

I'm tired of school and tired of having this set schedule of BS work. I'm only going to college because it's kind of expected of me. I mean, you spend 10k at ASU for a degree that'll make you more money. That's a plus. But when you start college, you don't know what you want to do and you spend at least 1 year changing your major trying to find something you're passionate about. Sometimes you're not even passionate about that thing and you really only get a degree in that because you already spent all that time in college. I wish I could take a year off to pursue a career in music production and DJing but I think it's a dumb idea. I'm just tryna have fun but not waste my time. Love school. I just want to graduate.

• This is just a joke album. Well I think it is. But it's a good representation of what a joke should sound like.
• Ed Sheeran - Shape of You
• Ed sheeran alwaays makes catchy music. I just love the melody and his vocal melody. He keeps it interesting throughout and tells a story
• Kehlani - Sweet Sexy Savage (Album)
• The whole album gives you a story to listen to. Kehlani gives you a sense of happiness with her vocals

Overall, Music in Jan was the usual. Good music is always showing up every month and I love it all
